That RT in the 5th picture looks a lot like the one Clausing sold for their small mills, and were probably also sold for the Atlas mills. If so, a Clausing or Atlas/Craftsman collector would probably more for it than you might expect. It appears that some of the parts on the handle are non-standard, however, if it is a Clausing. Mike

I bought the Atlas MFB pictured below for a specific job. I ended up coming up with a better way to do the task, so it's idle at this point. Also pictured is a small knee mill; Jet JVM-830 (8" x 30" table). These are similar to Clausing 8520, and a Rockwell model. Weigh in at maybe 1000 lbs.

Atlas MF mill spindle pulley conversion????
Apparently, Atlas changed the pulleys from 4-step to 3-step for some unknown reason but continued to call the mill M1, MF or MH until about the time that they came out with the 2-step "B" models. Or at least they did not stamp an "A" on any of the nameplates that I know of. Including mine.

Horizontal Milling Machine: Atlas MFB/MFC
The MFB had that cast cutter guard (M1-22) overarm was further supported by another set of M6-45 clamping devices in the outboard part of that cast guard. These are pretty rare. The deal is that the overarm support to the milling arbor was different (M1-8) . The newer MFC dispenced with the cutter guard and used M1-60 arbor support.
Atlas bench top horizontal milling machine
Atlas MFB horizontal milling machine for sale. Machine is in good condition. I am only selling because I really don't need it, This MFB has the automatic table feed which works well. No vise with the machine and it only comes with a ½" end mill holder. Bushings are available for the holder to fit smaller diameter end mills as well.
